After the latest round of clampdowns Scottish Residents in Level 1 & 2 Areas are in the strange position of being to travel abroad until the new level 4 across the board kicks in
on Boxing Day, but in theory not to England or the rest of the UK.
However seemingly you can transit through there on your way to somewhere that will still have us !!
Lord knows what will happen next. What's the legal position with regard to travel abroad in England, Wales and Northern Ireland at the moment ?

England tier 4 can’t travel abroad, the other tiers can. They can even travel through tier 4 in order to do so.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. It's weird that amongst all the dire warnings about crossing the Border up here at the moment no checks seem to being carried out on Air or Rail Services between Scotland and England.
Even stranger the media are completely ignoring the "get out of jail card" that living in Tier 1 or 2 Area provides until Boxing Day.
I suppose it does not "fit the script" ?0
