Hi Would paying for my house insurance by monthly instalments help boost my poor credit rating or would just paying out right be better?
The extra for instalments is £15 interest
Thanks

Taking a loan tells lenders you have insufficient funds.2

Incurring a cost of £15 to boost a score that only you can see is not very MSE.
Sometimes, having a credit file that is "too thin" can be bad, but is that truly the reason you feel you have a poor credit rating, or is there some other reason?1 -
I have an life changing accident and now unable to work.
I couldn't pay my mortgage and credit card but all my debts have now been paid off for about 6 monthsSpending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0 -
Sorry to hear about your accident, though it sounds like you are now getting a new future sorted.
I am no expert, but I'd be with @Deleted_User that paying the insurance monthly indicates strained finances. I would expect that the best way to restore your credit rating is a period of stability and demonstrate financial resilience.1 -
Thanks everyone
