    if your surgery have not received a letter yet it may be because the  NHS is rather busy at the moment.
    An invoice is a bill to be paid. What is this invoice for?

    Contact the consultant's secretary and ask if there is any information about your appointment.
    She is the one who would type them up so will know more than anybody else.
