How do I Stop Daily Mail News Feed Push Notifications?

Hi all, need help.

I keep getting lots of what I think are push notifications from the Daily Mail news,  on an Android tablet.

Oher notifications get lost in the DM deluge.

Can not find how to stop them.

Do you have the daily mail app on the tablet ?

Or it could be coming from Chrome itself

    Thanks for the response.

Cannot see a DM app anywhere, but it could be hidden in a sub folder, but where?

    @Browntoa Chrome? Please expand.

Uninstall the app from your tablet. Clear the cache, history, cookies from Chrome. Never go near the DM again..... ;)

Go to Settings, Then Apps and Notifications
It will show "Recently used apps" and below that list  will offer to "See all xxx" app"
Does a DM app appear in either of those 2 lists ?

  • I have done one better and blocked the website altogether!  B)

Thank you all, for your very helpful replys.

The problem turned out to be more "Chrome settings" then apps etc.

I've combined all the replys for future reference into:-

    Chrome 3 dots.
    dab SETTINGS
    dab NOTIFICATIONS
dab FROM WEBSITES or "Sites" "Show notifications" some versions.

    Continue for another Chome version.
    Blocked and allowed websites lists.
Select a site for SITE SETTINGS
    NOTIFICATIONS heading.
    change from ALLOW to BLOCKED.
The DM intruder has been  binned
