    Thanks for the advice CM. Have had a bit of a play around with mortgage comparisons already.

    it’s tough to know how much to put down and how much to keep for emergency’s. 

    I think as things are right now we’d be looking at putting down minimum of 40k. 

    But could certainly put down another 10 if it made a decent difference.

    but with things how they are and the fact I think we’re unlikely to move in the next six months I think who knows what position we’ll be in by then.
