Please forgive me if I have misunderstood but are you saying that you want expensive cosmetic surgery but want to to take-out insurance first, to avoid having to pay for it in full ?

insurance does not cover known events, for cosmetic stuff, they usually have a limit or no cover at all
Dental insurance will require you to have had a recent checkup to ensure your dental history is satisfactory for them."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

I wouldn't really call it cosmetic surgery. Teeth are pretty handy when it comes to eating.3

'Standard' false teeth will do the same job and may be covered by insurance. The defining factor will be whether or not it is already known that false teeth or implants are required. As previously mentioned, insurers won't generally cover pre-existing conditions.fred246 said:I wouldn't really call it cosmetic surgery. Teeth are pretty handy when it comes to eating.

thank you all, i have an implant and now will need of another implant, it is costly. I was wondering if any dental plan could cover the future implant costs.
ps: not cosmetic btw, a missing tooth.1 -
Denplan used to, like ten/fifteen years ago - but it wasn't cheap, even back then and I don't know if it is still offered now implants are much more common.
From what I remember from when I considered it, it would have hiked my monthly premium by approx 50%1 -
I would not call it cosmetic either (mine aren’t even visible), however it is elective and standard NHS treatment is dentures.london.cidade said:thank you all, i have an implant and now will need of another implant, it is costly. i don’t know but I doubt this exists and in general insurance doesn’t cover pre-existing conditions (your known future implant).
Your options are
get a loan a pay for it over time
go abroad bearing in mind that makes future care difficult and liability may be different to uk I.e. there are risks
try a student college if you are brave enough to let a student lose.
so realistically get a loan or get dentures

Denplan won’t give you your price until you’ve had a checkup first - anything the dentist thinks may be an issue or a potential future issue may be reflected in your price and any exclusions.pogofish said:Denplan used to, like ten/fifteen years ago - but it wasn't cheap, even back then and I don't know if it is still offered now implants are much more common.
