#55 submitting forms for April and May. Apologies for the late response. April was unexpectedly spendier than planned so a bit demotivating! June's looking expensive, but at least I know in advance.

I purchased my first ever car this weekend so sadly will not have any savings to add to this month.
Do I need to report £0 on the form?
It’s down to you really, but I would think the spreadsheet would look slightly different if you reported £0 vs not reporting anything for May.

If you didn’t submit the form for May, your May figure would simply be blank. Whereas if you submitted £0, it should show £0 in the cell for May.

If you do decide to submit £0, might be worth adding a note to your submission form confirming that you are indeed confirming you saved £0 that month.

All in all, it doesn’t really matter since it’s either blank or 0! :D

Morning all, #9 reporting in with £1,513.00 for May.  A good bit less than I planned but had forgotten three birthdays were 'big birthdays' this month so involved a good bit more for gifts and eating out!   I'll submit form now so I don't forget

Earlier post than usual because payday falls on bank holiday, plus my side hustle has paid. So I spent half 😅 and saved half. £1500 for May.
    Thanks for updating slowlyfading

  • Thanks @Suffolk_lass!
I'll submit the 3 forms today. It's looking like about 200 for March, 700 for April -  which includes some ever decreasing interest! - and 300 for May.  Finances are a bit different with a baby!

Keep up the savings motivation everyone.

  • #21 reporting £1072.18 for may. Disappointed with that, I did withdraw £300 to get a fence built so total is lower and the actual growth of my accounts doesn’t reflect the amount saved, I guess a drop in stock value perhaps as my savings are currently targeted a lot on boosting additional pension savings.

I have more earnings from this month to save but will lump it into next month’s total as I haven’t worked out the balance to move yet.

Hopefully back on track next month to boost savings more.
