Google 'shareholder perks' - there are plenty of such lists but I'm not aware that any of them claim to be 100% comprehensive....

Note that you'll generally have to be the registered owner of the shares, not hold them through a nominee account, so there'll be extra trading fees involved.
  • We bought 100 carnival @ £10. It's very risky because it could well fail before, or even after getting back to normal because of its debt and the main assets are only useful to other cruise lines, otherwise they're scrap. But if they can get back to "normal" the dividend and perks would pay it off within 5 years. This is a tiny fraction of our total wealth and a potential loss we can take in stride.

Brewdog have some stuff in their equity tfor punks. However, I was reading a blog last night and I don't feel they're a good investment and you were planning on doing more than the minimum to get benefits!

I wouldn't say it's a "complete" list but here are some companies that offer benefits when you invest in their shares:

They were probably a good investment up until this year with the massive negative effect COVID has had on brewing and the hospitality industry. Now I would totally agree that they're probably a far from good investment at the moment. As an aside, I don't think their beer is anywhere near as good as it claims to be - of course it's not bad beer by means - but I've always found it to be very expensive for what you get compared to considerably better beer from small family and independent breweries which are far less well known than Brewdog, perhaps because they don't market themselves so aggressively.

I realise that things have changed - but if you had shares in EUROPEAN FERRIES - bought back in the 70's - you could get unlimited 1/2 price travel on Townsend Thorensen Ferries / Sealink to the continent !
    Anything similar available nowadays ?
