Received NO PCN-informed via text from debt agency
I would like some help, as I have no idea what to do or how to approach 🙈
as I received a text message this evening informing me that my account will shortly be issued to an Enforcement Agent to visit me at my home. Followed by a link that I could pay now.
Or to contact CDER Group on 0330 107 0023, Ref... Security code.
In receipt of this I phoned the company to ask exactly what this is about, what isit for and what account I am Supposedly meant to have with them as I’ve never heard from them before aswell as how and where did they get my mobile number.
I was informed they had been directed via county court in regards to an unpaid PCN Notice dated in August 7th 2020.
(I was shocked) informed them I am completely unaware of any PCN as this is the first I’ve heard of it and have received no PCN, enforcement charge etc from either themselfs or local council that would have issued the pcn let alone no pcn number nothing to which they didn’t give me either.
Was then told not there fault I have to follow up with Royal Mail?🙈
I will contact my local council tomorrow to see if this is legit and if so how can I sort as today Is the first time I’ve been made aware of this apparent PCN.. 4months later via text from an apparent debt recovery.
Does this even sound legit?? I’m so confused🙈😩

If the case has been dealt with by the county court, the council won't be involved. You need to find out at which court the case was heard and which parking company CDER are representing. Then come back and tell us.In addition, please check the address shown on you V5C (logbook), as an incorrect address showing on that can often be the root of county court judgments in default. Have you moved address in the last couple of years or so?Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Hi
Thank you.I have spoken to council department explained situation they’ve informed me to fill out forms PE2 and PE3 and send off and it will be put on hold as it apparently hasn’t gone or progressed to court action, address is correct that they have as checked that with them first off, they stated due to ‘covid’ they’ve had a lot of pcns not being received and it is a issue with the Royal Mail 🤷🏼♀️.Do I contact Cder group now to ask for the inform you stated above or just deal with it through the council? Thanks again1 -
Is this definitely a council penalty ticket? If so you must go over to PePiPoo for expert help on council tickets. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Apparently so, although I haven’t got any ‘paperwork’ from them at all. I’ve looked at the site and for can’t seem to register

Don't use hotmail. If needed setup a new gmail or similar address. If it's a council ticket you've missed, at min, 3 pieces of post. That's not COVID.Have you actually gotten out your v5c and checked? No guessing.2
