If that is the case, it would be very unusual as generally when goods are replaced under a warranty, they don't normally have a new full warranty given. Usually what happens is that the replacement goods will only be warranted until the end of the original term.mobileron said:I have the hisense its first class and cost £350 in the sale. sorry, just to say again about the additional money, they are offering £429 and I may be able to put up to £500 on top of that, just not sure what tv would be of any use.

I claimed on a 5 year JL guarantee for my tv last year when it was 4.5 yrs old. I just said I wasn't happy with the alternatives and they gave me a full refund1

so just to update anyone who has kindly left advice or just viewed. The store have come back to me with an improved offer of £579 which i think i will accept and hope that i can get a tv over the next week or so in the sale3

To state the obvious, it's not a 'new for old' policy. Their latest offer is extremely generous, and will get you a much better spec than the original.No free lunch, and no free laptop
