Because from what I understood from today's briefing, everyone in tier 3 from midnight tonight is now tier 4Barny1979 said:
Why are you assuming they're in Tier 4 now?Grumpy_chap said:Quite likely now the OP is in Tier 4, in which case the gym would need to close whether the annex is classed as a gym or part of the home.
That's not quite correct. My area is a Tier 3 and is still in Tier 3 after today's changes. We are not all in T4.

- Kent, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey (excluding Waverley), Gosport, Havant, Portsmouth, Rother and Hastings;
- London (all 32 boroughs and the City of London); and
- the East of England (Bedford, Central Bedford, Milton Keynes, Luton, Peterborough, Hertfordshire, Essex excluding Colchester, Uttlesford and Tendring).

You may be surprised to hear that there are areas of the country outside of London and the south east.Grumpy_chap said:
They asked the question just after the new Tier 3 areas were introduced. Those areas are now Tier 4.Barny1979 said:

No, I am not surprised in the slightest. It is purely the timing of the query matching up with those areas.SpiderLegs said:

A certain logic would indicate that if the OP was in one of the areas previously Tier 3, the question would have been asked a while ago.1 -
Thanks for the clarificationBarny1979 said:
Well you've misunderstood the briefing then. Tier-four restrictions - similar to England's second national lockdown - will apply in all areas in the South East currently in tier three, covering Kent, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey (excluding Waverley), Gosport, Havant, Portsmouth, Rother and Hastings.gettingtheresometime said:

Not really practical. It's all equipment based. Anyway just setting up online doesn't mean you're going to get clients straight away. I run a couple of websites and it takes months to get on the google first page. There's a lot of hard work on a keyboard to get there.Barny1979 said:Why hasn't she moved her business online? That could have been done straightaway in March.The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
If *some* of the PT work could go online for delivery via zoom etc., couldn't she approach the existing clients rather than trying to get new?0
