Hi wonder if anyone has had similar experience I handed a car back half way through finance as could no longer afford a few years back any how when handing it back there stated do not fill logbook in ect leave it in glove box and hand keys to reception which I reluctantly done then a few months later I started get parking fines miles away from my hometown through the door which I binned as had a pic on them of someone else driving a few months later bailiff showed up while I was out and stupidly my partner paid 600 because felt intimidated anyway after dispute I give up again recently I have had another threat off bailiff same day Offence for same amount there’s no way I’m paying it I would like to go to court but I don’t think you can? The bailiff won’t even listen to my side of story 😩

You need specific bailiff advice which a private parking forum doesn't major on.You will be best served in dealing with bailiffs/enforcement agents by making contact with 'Bailiff Advice Online'. Sheila, who provides this service, has an extremely good reputation for assisting people with bailiff issues.Calls and the email enquiry service are free. Here's your link:Sheila also posts on MSE as @Herbie21HTHPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
