Moving from ESA Support group to UC - a bit confused.

I made an account for UC on the gov.uk website and I'm filling out the to-do list. I'm close to the end but it's asking for my conditions and such and then saying I must have a sick note. But I've already done this before and it was extremely stressful I don't want to repeat all the assessment stuff again if possible. It sounds like I have to get another sick-note ? Am I applying in the right place? It seems like it didn't ask anything about me being in the support group so it's like I'm making a completely new claim. Thank you.

Because you are in the ESA Support group you shouldn't need a Fit note but I think the UC claim process is not easily set up to accept this. Answer no. Put a message in the journal saying "I have not got a Fit Note but i am getting ESA in the Support Group already."
If you have a good relationship with your GP you can always ask for a Fit Note and then give UC details - it may make the claim smoother.
