Saving emails

Is there any way I can save an email as a file on my hard drive; not just the text, but date/time and any other info.
I use Yahoo mail, and a year or two ago I looked around in Yahoo Mail and found an archive feature. But that seemed to need Yahoo Mail to be running. I was looking for something that didn't need Yahoo Mail.

Not a bulk solution, but for occasionally saving a copy of an email, opening the email, clicking the Print icon and selecting "Save as PDF" as the printer works fine.

This may be over-the-top for your needs but Mailstore Home (free) makes an archive of all your mail to hard drive.

If you use email software on your computer you can save emails easily.  Pick one to use and connect your email account.
  • Thanks for the help.
The "Save as PDF" was sufficient for what I needed.
