We have been issued with a pcn from NE parking, for wonky parking, pics provided, ignored until the Gladstones letters started. They have been ignored also will await court date, however they have been texting and this morning they rang up, is this normal also as I have seen no mention of this in other threads?

LOL, that car is not parked in contravention of any 'rule'. The wheel is on the line and not impacting on another bay. No Judge will find against you.
Yes, they phone and text people to harass them, it's what these bullying robo-claim solicitors do in the name of 'debt collection'. They want to bully you into paying up because that's the most lucrative outcome for them and the scumbag PPC.
I bet the IPC and Gladstones are proud of this; see below. It is all about the money and this 'offer' to the industry makes it appear that Gladstones are operating for the IPC, using their headed notepaper and corporate colours. Of course there is 'NO CONNECTION', hahaha:
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If you don't start reading the letters you are in danger of having a CCJ awarded against you in default because you ignored a county court claim form. Do you have the original PCN? Where did the parking take place, what sort of establishment? Did you pay? Do you have a permit? What letters have you ignored? Was one of them a letter before/of claim? Are they just debt collector letters? Have you read the NEWBIE sticky where lots of answers are already given? When they rang, what did they want?3

As I asked in your other thread (in Consumer Rights) ... how did they get your phone number in the first place?1

The letters from gladstones are the "please pay otherwise we may have to instruct our client to take you to court" type. Anything offficial will not be ignored, but I am waiting for them to take me to court and will use the defence templates in your newbie threads.1

As to how they got my number I have no idea.0

But you need to look out for the LOC and react to that so you know when it is likely that the claim form N1 will follow.mickmangle said:The letters from gladstones are the "please pay otherwise we may have to instruct our client to take you to court" type.
