Better to POPLA or engage?

Your character count (with spaces) is 2,199 - I am not sure how POPLA count characters but you could reduce it to get below 2,0001

All,
This saga continues. I have now received a letter before claim - I've just returned from a prolonged overseas work engagement, so arrived home today and saw the letter was sent on 28/2, meaning I have until 30/3 to resolve the matter. Although I'm not over the deadline, I do still want to go through the motions as indicated in the NEWBIES thread, but I know I'm close to the line. Have I missed the boat and will be £170 lighter?
Thanks all,
Chris0 -
Just respond to the LBC as per the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post, including a requirement for the solicitors to place the case on hold for 30 days while you seek debt advice (use those words). As well, send a SAR to the PPC - as per the same thread/post above. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
