I thought the Zigbee wireless standard used 2.4Ghz frequency, ie same as home 2.4Ghz wifi?

GEO Trio 2 smart meter/Avro
I've had this Trio 2 meter for some time but frustratingly when I set the WiFi up so I can use the app to monitor my usage it drops out each night and you have to start again by entering your router password.Ive had constant to and fro emails with Avro energy and each time they tell mec to wait 5 days and the issue will be resolved,it never is,they don't have a clue.
Has anyone got this issue and have they managed to resolve it ?0 -

Hi,Is your supplier Avro and do you have an L&G meter and is it not just the Wifi that resets but any settings you change such as budget?If so please can you contact Arvo and let them know you are having the overnight factory reset issue, this is something Avro are aware of.---- And from good old Avro ----------------

We are aware of the issue and we are currently working with the manufacturer of our in-home display to seek a permanent resolution. Once we do have a resolution, this will be sent to your device automatically and the change will be visible to you.
We can assure you that this is just a display issue and it will not affect your bills. So its back to tramping out to the 'smart' meter in the rain with a pencil and jotting down the readings to send in, at least when the app/wifi worked (and it used to, at least for a few weeks at a time) you could recall the readings from your phone in comfort.
I would be less bothered if it had never worked, but like I said, it used to, and then someone broke something and now its useless, its obviously just a software issue that someone screwed up and its shocking they have no idea how to undo it.0 -
