Gutter leaking and damp bricks

Hi all,
The guttering at the rear of my property has a break and the water has been splashing on the decking below and some has been splashing on the brickwork. Once the guttering has been repaired, will this dry out? I'm assuming the brickwork will need to be cleaned. I have a tendency to worry about things like this, that it may have caused expensive damage. Thanks.

The brickwork will dry out just fine and won't cause any problems. The decking, being wood, is prone to rotting - This is inevitable when outside. In the short term, it will dry out, but you may want to consider removing the strip closest to the wall at some point in the future.

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.3 -

The decking is right up against the wall, and is above the height of the wall's damp proof course. Not a good combination.Either remove a strip or two of decking leavig a gap between decking and wall to help the wall dry out and prevent future damp issues, or if/when you replace the decking bear that in mind with the replacement installation.1

How long was it leaking for? There are no cracks in the brick work, just looks cosmetic. Maybe get a cover for that vent, splash back from the decking could penetrate. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ventilation-Exhaust-Weatherproof-Protection-300X100/dp/B07D4JNJ97/ref=sr_1_37?dchild=1&keywords=outdoor+vent+covers&qid=1608317224&sr=8-37
No dpc visible, common in older houses, and not a problem.
You could slap this on your walls

Check gutters regularly, have them cleaned after autumn.
