Claiming UC and lodger

I'm not sure whether a UC claim even asks if you have a lodger anyway given that they make no difference to the UC entitlement. Anybody know?Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0

Just to be clear, OP, the application form is for UC. You have to apply for Council Tax Support separately.
If you do make a mistake on the UC form it can be rectified afterwards; it is not ideal because it will take time for them to look at the change and update your claim, but it is possible.
I can't remember myself whether when it asks you about other adults if that only means non-dependants who would be liable for part of the rent.
The CAB only mention joint tenants in the housing situation https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/universal-credit/claiming/applying-for-universal-credit/ (scroll down)
This would be consistent with lodgers not counting towards the number of bedrooms and their payments being ignored.0
