After many years of condensation inside windows we have moved to a 5yr old well insulated house. We still get a little condensation inside occasionally, but this morning there was quite a lot of cond outside. It was on the rooms where heating comes on before dawn, it didn't cover the whole panes just the middle.
Any explanation please?

By inside/outside do you mean the double glazing units?

They are double glazed units. The condensation is on the outside of the outer pane of glassI am not a cat (But my friend is)0

We get this with our new build. It is apparently a sign that the windows are working as they should and are working effectively.
We don't get it every morning but we did have it this morning on the windows on one side of the house.

Yes, it's your windows working efficiently to keep the house warm. 🙂We have Velux windows upstairs and triple glazed rooflights and I can't see a thing in the mornings!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I've got single glazed windows that mist up on the inside, sometimes freeze up. Luckily my wife has a good supply of J cloths to keep them dry.0

Glad I read this, noticed the mist on the outside of the bedroom windows this morning and panicked a little.0
