Washer delivery & ruined kitchen

I had a replacement washer from AO. It was a complete disaster. After installing the new washer, they snapped the plinth, in turn that dented a cupboard door. On leaving they dropped the old washer resulted in a wet floor and two dints. They are saying I have to get quotes for a repair. It is nigh on impossible to find somebody who wants to come along and source s matching plinth and door. It is ten year old.
where do I stand please?

Who did you originally buy the kitchen from? They would seem the most obvious to get quotes from and most likely to be able to match. We didnt put our kitchen in but even though its circa 9 years old Wren still sell the identical kitchen/handles etc.
It ultimately is up to you to substantiate your claim; you may also want to stop shouting about it being a 10 year old kitchen as they are only responsible for a like for like replacement and so in theory could consider arguing that there is betterment if buying brand new parts to replace ones of considerable age.0 -
I don't think you can claim that a snapped plinth and a few dents has ruined a ten year old kitchen.
You're entitled to the cost of repair, and no more. Anything more would be at their discretion and would be, as Sandtree points out, betterment.
Post some photos. The plinth may be the easiest thing to replace. Once we can see what type of kitchen cupboards you have, people may be able to point to where replacements can be found. As for the "dints" in the floor, how bad are they and what is the floor made of? Some flooring, like wood or vinyl, can be steamed back into shape pretty easily.0
