Can't watch ITV, CHANNEL 4 etc because of ad blocker

Hi, I hope someone can help. I have always been able to watch the above channels but I tried to watch a program on Channel 4 yesterday and it said I had an ad blocker and needed to disable it for Channel 4 to be able to watch. I tried ITV and that said the same. I, personally, haven't changed any settings so I don't know why things have changed.
My browser is Firefox and my antivirus is Kaspersky total security, I've looked on both but can't seem to find anything that says anything about ad blocking. Where can I find the settings to alter them?
I think Firefox did do an update recently so perhaps that was when it changed.
TIA
EDIT - just tried watching on Opera and that is the same, need to disable ad blocker to watch. So that rules out Firefox as the culprit so where do I find this ad blocker to be able to customise it? My op sysem by the way is Windows 7 if that makes a difference.

What happens if you turn off Kaspersky temporarily and try again? If it works then you will need to look in the Kasperksy settings to see if there is any mention of ad blocking.

I'm adblocked up to the gills and can watch both ITV and Chan 4 on my PC. Disable Kaspersky completely and try to watch that should confirm it.
Then Bin Kaspersky and update to W10, which you will still be able to do for free.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

Firefox blocks many sites due to ad blocking . I just use a basic internet browser for those sites with no add-ons .

Problem is, I don't want to runmy laptop on the Internet without protection. anyone any idea as to where in Kaspersky I can find the adblock?0

Really don't want to get rid of it, just the ad block on certain sites.I also hate Win10, I have that on my other laptop, it updated itself automatically. When it does an update it seems to stop some things working and takes me ages to get them to work again. Now I have found it is Kasperskiy causing it, I just want to find out how to turn the ad blocker off, or customise it, as I don't want to be on the Internet without protection by turning the whole lot off.Any ideas?0 -
You don't want to be on the internet unprotected(quite right) but you are happy to use an outdated operating system which will stop receiving any security updates in January.
If your only objection to Windows 10 is its desire to update itself then you can defer updates (although eventually you will have to do so). I defer updates for a couple of weeks to that if there is a problem other brave pioneers will have discovered it first but (touch wood) I have been ok with all updates so far. One big plus of Windows 10 is that the inbuilt anti virus and firewall can be depended on so you don't need other software. This is not advisable with Windows 7 as the version of Defender there did not get good reviews.
Have you googled for "Kaspersky stop ad blocking"? I did and got several hits.

I thought it stopped receiving updates in January 2020? (So it's already had a year - almost - of no updates).
Quite right. My bad.0
