    Hi again and thank you
I don't own any fan heaters. We have a B rated tumble dryer which my wife uses quite a bit (there's 5 of us, sometimes 7) and an electric shower. 5 showering once a day, the children sometimes spending 10 minutes in the shower each, despite shouting at them to get out. Other than that, lights are mainly LED with 2 or 3 low energy ones, TVs x2 and the children use their computers and phones a lot.

I have checked the MPAN and turned everything off today and it isn't moving so no problem there. Checked the outside plug and only the outdoor LED lights are plugged in there.
Do you think the deal UP offered is OK. I cannot seem to find cheaper but it has gone up, it's Just Join UP 12M Fixed Wk46: Electricity Unit Rate: 13.920 Standing Charge: 23.07 Gas Unit Rate: 2.31 Standing Charge: 23.77

No immersion, meter is our own outside the front door. Originally when the last person was here the housebuilder didn't register the house for electric so they got free elec for 12 years. We informed the electric board and they have been charging us from day one. We just couldn't not let them know, it didn't sit right with me not paying for it,
What can I do about the electric shower, if that is the problem? I will tell my wife to only use the dryer when absolutely necessary which I am sure she already does.

Yes the UP deal is good  - go for it before they change their minds.  Ring or email them today.

Sorry I think we misunderstood your mention of "fan!" assuming it was a fan heater  but actually it's a cooling fan.

And yes the electric shower looks like part of  your problem -   but it may be a price you have to pay.  You are also a large family and with that goes more of everything - more lights, more TV's etc - it all adds up.

@Lijong  -  if you can afford the capital then a shower which gets its hot water from the gas boiler will be much cheaper to run.
