Well I thought I had posted another update but clearly I didn't finish it off so it did not post.
A funny few days, i've had a really bad headache for last 3 days so haven't done much at all, I woke this morning feeling a bit better but by 10am it was back and I am so tired. DH is going to cook dinner and is fussing like a mother hen.
New years day was quiet and just like any other day, I worked and that is when I started feeling ill after I finished. I've been to bed early each night as I feel too uncomfortable sitting downstairs. I hate it, I am a get things done type of person so feeling not so great is really slowing me up.
The shopping budget is sitting at £99.74 which is this weeks £75 and last weeks left overs. No shopping planned until the 10th when I might add some essentials to my Mums online shop, so far I owe my Mum £6.18 for softener and milk but she doesn't want it until the end of the month when she will add up everything else I have added to her online shop, she likes a bit of accounting does my Mumtoo simple to just pay as you go
So actual shopping money available is £93.56.
The online banking app has not produced the standing order to the credit card as yet although it was due on 1st January, maybe it will go tomorrow, very frustrating.
I am watching Mary Berry cooking programmes and some sewing programmes on you tube which is a real treat.
DH bought us a takeaway last night so I didn't have to cook, he loved his but after a few mouthfuls of mine I couldn't eat any more, it was delicious but I was full too quickly.
No making cakes last few days, wouldn't have anyway even if I was feeling well enough as we are a little bit like 'Jack and Jill' with our full bellies at the moment
The weather has been beautiful this week so far, we've had some snow flurries but overall crisp and clear sunny days, very cold though.

I hope you are feeling better soon. Try to get plenty of rest3

Thank you Blackcats
I do feel much better today, my headache has gone, I can't even say I feel a little fragile, I am better, a little tired but better.
I have made a cooked dinner tonight and apple crumble and cream for afters, went down a treat.
I can finally say I have paid £120 off the debt yay!!! What a relief, the journey has begunStill no spends on shopping so budget is the same.
When i've finished this post I am going to take great delight altering my signature.
I went to work today for about 4 hours, it was enough to get to a point where I feel relaxed about it all again.
DH left me asleep this morning when he got up, I was grateful of that as I was shattered. Got up slowly and realised I felt better which was a nice feeling. All in all it hasn't been a bad day.
Tomorrow I am going to get up and probably help DH out on the yard for a little while and then I will make myself look presentable, I have a meeting at 3.30 so need to be smarter for that. The house is not too bad at the minute, managing to keep on top of the cleaning and washing etc. I have opened cream tonight to have with the apple crumble. I don't want it to go to waste so might make a cheesecake tomorrow to use it up. That is the Mary Berry influence.

Brrrrr...cold one today, turned absolutely freezing around 3pm luckily I have been inside most of the day but those outside sure did let me know about it.
So quite an easy day today, helped DH this morning quickly and then tidied up a bit and went to work, had my meeting at 3.30pm absolutely hate the wifi signals where you keep missing half the sentence, or someone stays on mute and is so engrossed in what they are saying they don't realise everyone is shouting you're on mute!!! And what is this new thing where you put your hand up to speak?? Where the hell is that button located?? Struggled to keep a straight face and not giggle my head off when I saw these tiny little yellow hand emojis popping up everywhere.
Ah well, anyway, no changes money wise. I've decided that the money I put into my debt paid off figures this year, will only be over payments, there are other payments being made monthly by direct debit which are minimum payments and preset over payments but it's only additional payments to these that I will account for in the pay off all your debt by xmas 2021 challenge.
Have managed 2 loads of washing between doing everything else and I have no idea how but 3 dishwasher loads, where did that even come from??
I made an effort today and actually put on some makeup, dark liner on my top eyelid as well, all went well until I tried to add eyeshadow over the top while it was still wet so ended up with some 'intentional' smudged effect which I had to then try and replicate on the other eyeAssured myself that the computer screen/camera would conceal the mess.
Made the cheesecake I wanted to but in all fairness it's not that nice, I forgot the recipe and probably put too much cream and dream topping in it compared to cream cheese. It also made a huge amount so ended up with a cheesecake the size of a dinner plate from one packet of disgestives, half an elmlea tub, 1 small tub of philadelphia and 2 dream topping mixes. I only wanted enough for 3, ah well cheesecake for the next 3 days for afters.
Have planned to try and do 5 working hours tomorrow and for the rest of the week, probably wont be all together will be a few hours snatched here and there. DH is slow on his business no. 2 now due to the lockdowns but he can still sell online. Schools are shut now as well so that makes life a little more challenging at home whilst trying to work etc. but I would rather be safe and play our part. If I am honest I am delighted because DD and her fiance are both teachers so having them working from home is one less worry and I know they are very relieved about it also.
Tomorrow it is easy sausage, egg and chips for tea........my goodness it's Wednesday tomorrow half way through the week already.

Hello itstime - I'm sure the camera was very kind to you today 😉. The putting up your hand button is usually on the top bar of the screen, near the show conversation button. Forgetting to put your hand down is the new "you're on mute" faux pas 🙀. I feel like I've spent the last 6 months continually on teams .
Good luck with your debt overpayments.1 -
Thanks Blackcats
I don't think my already frazzled coordination will be able to listen, and find buttons all at once lol, to be fair i've only been on teams about 6 or 7 times, it's usually zoom they do but at least I did get a multi screen up so I could see everyone at once, that was better.
Have been to work most of the morning and will go back shortly, am just having a cuppa and organising some home schooling to be done, I will be grateful for any efforts however small.
I have just whacked the heating up, it is freezing, dry and cold so the stuff that gets into your bones.
Quick tea tonight so not much thought going into that.

I really do need to get up......
Tried to do my Aldi order last night but the site said it was adding details so wait a few minutes and refresh, it kept on saying it so I gave up and just completed it now. I am really delighted once I have placed the order it gave me the option to edit my list up until 11:50 the night before, I am so chuffed, up until now I haven't seen this feature not sure whether it has been there or not but that was my only bug bearer with Aldi, that you couldn't alter once you'd authorised your card for it.
So a spend of £70.32. Truthfully I have not been attempting to lose weight, mainly because I have the wrong foods in. I haven't gone mad just bought what I need, so made sure I have salad and fruit in addition to normal shopping.
I am an all or nothing kind of person so because I am trying to pay off the debt I am now not buying anything which is going to result in a binge buy I am sure. The food money is there to be spent on groceries each week without affecting my debt repaying budget, I need to learn not to restrict us and that it is ok to use the budgeted money. As I said I haven't got wild, plenty of butter, bread, milk, meals, necessities etc. One pack of low calories treats for me in case I get a bit cravey. I did think I could last until end of January, just using my Mums online order but I weighed it up and the additional cost with Tesco is not worth it, I need healthy things and the amount of items would have exceeded what she has left to use in her basket. Either way maybe I can stick to a fortnightly Aldi shop which is what I have attempted to shop for now.
I really need to stop messing about telling myself something is wrong with me such as thyroid/menopause etc. Note to self stop feeling so sorry for yourself and look at all the weight you've put on and be stricter and admit that actually eating non stop, snacking and having unhealthy big meals for tea with absolutely no exercise is the reason. There said it!
Day 1 starting now.

Been quite a nice kind of day so far, i've had a lovely chat to a friend on the phone. We both have the same sort of business but she is having a rest for now and not working, its nice to complain and just bounce ideas back and forth. I've made tea just need to heat it up, cottage pie filling with roast potatoes and green beans for DH and smaller person and bake potato, green beans and chicken for me, I have also drunk 4 big glasses of water so far today and been to the loo like a flipping yoyo!
It's still very cold here and dry which is lovely and is creating some beautiful sunsets.
Went to work all morning and managed to finish off pretty much everything from before Christmas just one last part left to do on one of the pieces.
Been sticking to my plan of healthy eating hopefully I will see a drop in weight soon, to be honest I need to do this for my health so that is as good a reason as any.
It's time.

Dull and dreary outside today, not quite as cold though.
Pork chops, onion rings and potato squares (chopped potato, seasoned and oven cooked until soft) for DH and smaller person, pork chop but only the round bit, same potatoes and some salad or veg for me, still very much trying to eat healthily.
Aldi click and collect will be due soon so I will pop out for that, it is a little bit more than my original order because...just because I can ....I added more ...sigh.... mainly DH's doing.
This morning I finished off some paperwork, had a quick phone meeting and sent a few emails then realised the rest of the day was my own, so I made some welsh cakes and a loaf of bread. The welsh cakes as usual came off the griddle and straight into mouths hardly touching the cooling rack, the bread is not such a luxury these days so has been left alone
For dinner I made a 'pizza' of sorts, rolled out some homemade pastry, added tomato puree and garlic, then some left over sausages and cheese and some seasoning and bunged it in the oven for half hour. I didn't have any I had homemade soup consisting of potatoes, carots, onions, broccolli and cauliflower and a stock cube. Tasted quite nice especially with the two piece of best of both bread from Aldi and a tiny bit of welsh butter. Again today I have drunk lots of water and I actually think it is making a difference to me, I feel calmer for one...I don't know if that can be a thing?
The boys outside have finished early for the day which is always nice on a Friday so the weekend is about to start.......not that anything exciting is going to happen mind you.
Tomorrow DH has promised he will help me construct the last of my two jobs which were due before Christmas so they will be ready for their customers to 'click and collect' when they are ready. Although I don't think one can come as they are quite a long way from us, either way it will be nice for them to be finished. The payments when I get them are going straight off the credit card.
It's Friday today so my standing order over payment to the credit card left the bank account this morning which is a fab feeling, Sunday the monthly payment will transfer but I am not going to count it. Problem is I have set a target of £10,000 on the pay all your debt by Xmas 2021 and the £120 over payment weekly wont reach that amount. I am hoping that all my earnings from business 3 can go off the total as over payments as well and if I am lucky it will work out in the end and the total will reach £10,000. I don't suppose it really matters either way because if the usual monthly payments go out then it might just mean I don't have to pay a full 52 weeks at £120 before the debt is cleared. Hmmmm maybe need to do some maths and have a clearer picture.
