The wraps will be fine frozen. There are only 2 of us so I regularly freeze them. DH usually has 2 so I freeze the white ones in 2s; I have a single wholemeal one so freeze mine individually - well separated by greaseproof and then all into one bag.
I usually do a roast on Sunday and then either use the LO meat for some kind of meal on Monday so like today it's lamb so tomorrow will be shepherds pie; the joint was bigger than we needed so I got DH to cut a chunk off and will use that to make a lamb & barley hotpot later in the week.
With chicken we'll have roast on Sunday, cold on Monday and then curry with most of the leftovers, the tiny bits will get used in a Spanish risotto with some chopped chorizo and peas - that would be with a fairly small chicken. With a bigger chicken I can make loads more meals. A lot of which would be frozen.

Thanks Joedenise some good ideas there. I am a bit fussy though if truth be known I only like white chicken meat so no legs etc. I only buy chicken breasts as I assume it's cheaper as I would waste the rest? I could do a curry on a Monday though that would work....my Mum used to put the bits of chicken into a soup and that was lovely!
Quite a lazy day so far today, I did go out and help DH outside for a bit this morning although he is still out there going strong. Have done 2 loads of washing and made dinner. Tried to watch telly but Murder on the Orient Express was a bit ott the man playing Poirot was shouting at everyone...not my cup of tea and now I am watching The Adams Family
I feel much more relaxed today and not particulary guilty for sitting down, still not completely chilled but on the way. Takes me ages to slow down and relax when we have a forced holiday, I am so busy usually running from here to there and back again the change to doing nothing feels weird.
Have arranged with my Mum to add a few items to her Tesco shop which is being delivered tomorrow, I have kept it at a minimum so the cost is £6.18. Add that to my Aldi shop and the spend for this week is £56.36/£75.00 not bad at all, next week is going to be less again, I am determind. It's making sure I have enough milk, butter, eggs etc. so I don't do a bigger shop just to get the few items I actually do need.
Car Insurance and House Insurance payments are still pending so they have not cleared the account yet which means I am not paying interest on them, I think they will clear when the insurance is due which is the 4th, never know though will keep an eye on it. I moved £30 back from Plum today and put it in the current account ready for the over payments on Friday....can I wait??
Right need to run, DH has just knocked the window and indicated he wants a cuppa

Oh now!! I am feeling very proud of myself if not a little shocked! I went online and convinced myself that I needed a new dressmakers mannequin, looked it up, searched the size, found the best deal..........and shut down the laptop and said 'actually I don't need one, I am just bored'
That's a first.

well done! That's great self discipline. How much money didn't you spend?I've been unsubscribing from various sites as I'm so easily tempted by the bombardment of regular emails offering me discounts, sales, special offers, sneak previews etc etc. I get lured in and find myself thinking I need to buy something that I hadn't even thought about until I read the email.6

Thanks Blackcats! I didn't spend £159.99
, I am very relieved, it's all about keeping control of my mind which takes some strength.
So last few days I have stuck to my plan reasonably well, well a tiny bit actually. I have used my exercise bike and have in fact just got up now and done 9 and a half minutes. I've had one or two vitamin D tablets and I can't say i've made any inroads into the 4lb loss I need by 31st January. In my defence it is very hard with all the chocolate and sweets hanging around. My plan is once they've gone, they've gone.
I've been out today and collected the Aldi click and collect which was a very nice feeling, I got all excited and thought I could run along to the Grocery challenge and update it but this shop is still in December so I have to wait for any spends from January 1st, ah well at least this week the total is £50.26 (yes it was a few pence more) and £6.18 so £56.44/£75.00.
DH has suggested we got an air fryer which will be more healthy for us where chips are concerned for definite, our old deep fat fryer leaks and I am ashamed to say has made a right old mess of the cupboard I store it in, so much so the toaster underneath it is covered in grease (how embarrassing), but still.....I am not prepared to buy one unless we have found the money from somewhere, so either from business 2 or 3 but definitely not from shopping and definitely not from debt over payments.
I had a quick read of the frump to fab thread and it inspired me to paint my toe nails, it's quite amazing how much pleasure I have had from noticing them on and off today each time I have changed shoes, they look niceI don't want to write myself off just yet.
I've looked up how to improve my life and some of the ideas and mantras really hit home with me, so I have updated my signature to show a few of them to remind me. I thought about what I actually want long term and that is to have no debt, weigh less and to feel more successful with my business 3, I need to believe in myself. All of it will come when I am firm with myself and stop letting myself down.

It's time I make my own chips and oven bake them. I cut the chips and then bring to the boil and turn the heat off but leave the lidded pan on there for 3 or 4 minutes; drain; dry and then spread out on a baking sheet sprayed with oil then spray the chips with oil too. Bake in a hot oven, about 200 for 30-35 minutes. I turn the tray a couple of times to help them all brown and crisp up. Definitely healthier than deep fried! I've got a halogen oven which works like an air fryer but quite honestly it's not big enough to cook the amount of chips we eat!

Thanks Joedenise, that sounds a good idea, much cheaper. I might have a go at that we are getting really fed up of the grease in the chips. We used to have a halogen oven a few years ago but the bulb went and we never replaced it, I remember making bread in it and using it as a grill.
I checked my phone this morning before I got up and my son had sent me a text to say about the Oxford vaccine, well now that cheered me up! Got up and helped DH sort out the yard and then tidied the house, coffee at 11, tidied up again and had dinner and then went to work. Spent 2 hours working for No.3, not much time but enough to get my head back round where I left off, planning another 2 hours tomorrow and each day until back to my usual hours. I am hoping that by then I will have nearly finished the two jobs I didn't get finished before Christmas so I can start fresh which is always a good feeling.
Only two more days before I can transfer the shopping money and the next over payment to the card, I am really looking forward to doing it, it feels like an achievement.
I read online tonight that Matt Hancock has said that by 5th April things will look much better, so as we missed our Christmas meal I have sent everyone an invite for a family meal on 4th April, it will involve 3 households and 1 support bubble so as long as things are looking up by then it might just be doable, fingers crossed anyway.

JoeDenise's chips sound lovely, I'll try them too I think.I like your mantras Itstime - I actually have the "stop giving up what you really want, for what you want now" at the top of my January bullet journal page (I call it a bullet journal but it's really just my notebook of lists, notes etc 🥳)3

Blackcats I too have lists and diaries galore, every day I make a new list and try to stick to it, with me it really is forcing myself to stop being so impulsive and think long term, hence the mantras
A little snow this morning not much just a covering, it is so pretty. Currently having a cuppa and a biscuit with DH and then a tidy through and work this afternoon.
