Issues with extended manufacturer warranty

Hello All, I bought a washing machine 3 years ago based on fact that it came with extended warranty (5 years) . After registering the machine, I checked with manufacturer and they suggested they would send the paper work in post while also suggesting that my machine was eligible for 5 years warranty. I never received the paperwork.

Now i am chasing them to get a repair. My machine has developed a fault almost an year ago. I approached the manufacturer and they suggested my machine is not covered in warranty. I kept chasing them and then they suggested my machine was never in 5 years warranty. Even though i provided all the emails / screenshots, the management believes as it was never in the extended warranty offer, hence i cannot claim it. They also apologised for clerical mistake i,e, confirming that the machine was in  extended warranty back in 2017.

I am wondering do i have any rights here. I had some many issues when i bought this machine which was new and installed professionally by 'Currys'. I had to return my first machine on very first week, the second machine developed the fault which was then got repaired in 2 years warranty.  Now the machine display does not work as it was one of the smart machine machines.

The machine costed me around £400 in 2017

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Warranty subject to any terms and conditions they want .
Warranty is not your Consumer Rights that is against the seller .
Under CR  Currys have the right to ask you for an independent report regarding the problem and any rights .
You pay for that cost recovered if right .They choose to repair replace or refund less allowance for 3 years usage .
At £400 and 3 years old i would just write it off .
