Unknown Transactions - Organisation: “OF”

Hello all,
This is my first post so hoping I’ve put this in the right place! On reviewing my bank statement I’ve seen a number of POS transactions with the organisation “OF” - for various amounts ranging from £3 to £40. The only other info available on the transaction is that it appears to be converted from USD to Sterling and a transaction fee. The bank haven’t been very helpful and I’ve had no luck tracing the organisation “OF” - any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

It's possible (even likely) that "OF" refers to the payment processor not the actual retailer. There is one called OFX that seems to handle certain foreign payments.

Not OnlyFans is it? I know it says POS but could that just be the way they process their transactions?0

Obviously dont know from personal experience but a quick google does confirm the site shows up as “OF” on bank statements etc.wizzywig27 said:Not OnlyFans is it? I know it says POS but could that just be the way they process their transactions?
POS just means that its a sale rather than interest, fee, transfer etc and is used equally for internet sales and in person.0 -
Looks like OnlyFans then. I cannot check the site as I am at work, but from reading an article on The Sun website it appears to be a subscription service, not sure why the amounts would vary though.Sandtree said:

Interesting thank you! I’ve spoken to the bank and canx my card now which is a pain but I’ll raise it with them and see what they say! Cheers!wizzywig27 said:

If it wasn't you, you have either had your card details compromised or someone in your house is using your card. I think, it is more adult based content on there, but I may be wrong.theboltonwanderer said:

Given it's in US $ then the UK rate will vary each month, but not by £3 to £40. That has to be someone purchasing or accessing a paid for service & a quick look at it does show that various people charge different rates.wizzywig27 said:

Based on posts on Twitter that have come up from innocent searches I believe you can buy one off content from members or pay a monthly subscription plus subscription is at member level so one “model” may charge $5 a month and another could charge $50 a month plus sell individual videos for $10wizzywig27 said:

The site is clearly known for its adult content but I believe some members share less X rated videos etc1 -
Hopefully cancelling my debit card should put a stop to it now. Thanks for all your helpSandtree said:

Will depend on how the payments are coming through... if they are coming across as a Continuous Payment Authority then cancelling the card itself will do nothing and the CPA has to be cancelled with the bank (though most are a pain when you ask them to)theboltonwanderer said:
