When you are viewing a thread, above the messages there should be a strip that says Main Site, Chat, User CP, FAQ etc. Select User CP. On the next page, on the left it should say Control Panel with a list of headings. Select Edit Options. On the next page scroll down to Miscellaneous Options. In the drop down box select Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG editing. Click Save Changes. Next time you reply to a message there should be a Insert Smilie option on the Message Editor. :cool:
