Tax advisor/accountant/broker etc

Hi, I’m interested to see who has an accountant/tax advisor etc? I am at the stage where I am diversifying my portfolio and probably should get some expert advice. Interested to see who does it DIY, or if you’d recommend any expert help, and if so in what area? I have a mix of cash, company shares, potential property investment etc. Thanks!

I DIY investments but have an account for tax returns for my businesses. I got some independent financial advise before investing. Since you say you have company shares, I would definitely get some independent financial advice/do some research as picking individual stocks is risky even for people who know what they are doing! No one has ever become poor by giving0

Probably worth spending a bit more time evaluating exactly what it is you're looking for, as the roles of tax advisor, accountant and broker are three entirely different disciplines, and it sounds like it's actually a fourth (independent financial adviser) that would be best placed to offer you independent advice on arranging your finances if your aim is to diversify investments.Rose02 said:Tax advisor/accountant/broker etc

You'll find that many on here DIY and many use advisers, and threads like this often descend into gratuitous adviser-bashing, but you could do worse than posting more detail about your existing assets and the rest of your financial circumstances - age, income, objectives, risk tolerance, etc....0 -
If you want advice then an IFA would be best placed as stated above, however they won't know anything or provide any realistic advice on any property you own or are planning on.0
