Buy new bed before or after Xmas?

We are planning to purchase a new bed from furniture village (https://www.furniturevillage.co.uk/holcot-ottoman-bed-frame/ZFRSP000000000009135.html/?utm_source=POS&utm_medium=Store&utm_campaign=QR), do you think Furniture village will reduce the bed price as part of January sales ?

I would expect that they will have a Sale, but whether this particular bed frame will be reduced is anyone's guess. 

If you want to save money, buy second-hand off eBay. Furniture is so much cheaper bought  second-hand - you won't have the risk of non-delivery prior to Christmas, or the risk that the bedframe isn't in the sale.

FV special buys are the same year round. They may occasionally have an extra offer on particular items though. I'd order now, keep an eye on the price in the weeks over the boxing day/new year period and if it goes down, call them and they will honour the price.

That's a bit misleading. It's not very clear that you'll have to pay at least another £1700 for a mattress.

That's a bit misleading. It's not very clear that you'll have to pay at least another £1700 for a mattress.

I had to look hard but decided that it was clearly just a bedframe. I stopped buying expensive mattresses when Hypnos started selling their commercial mattresses via Premier Inns.

It does. But all the accompanying pictures show it with a mattress and I struggle that just the frame is £1000..

It seems to be saying delivery would be 6 weeks anyway, so nothing to lose by waiting until new year

I always try to buy these things around New Year's, when the discounts are the biggest. I'm sure it will be the same here. I have an app that allows me to keep track of price changes.
