Faulty goods, returning product issues

We purchased a coffee machine which was delivered last Monday. My husband opened the package and discovered that the water draw was faulty (sticking in the machine, not aligned correctly and Cracked). He phoned the company that day and was put through to their customer services department. They were useless, and after 3 calls and several emails to show the faults he hadn’t got anywhere, I then emailed on wednesday and showed photos of the damage and asked what would be done, they replied asking for more photos of the packaging ( which had no damage) so I sent them, another 24 hours passed and I still had no response. I sent another email asking for a full refund under consumer rights act and for the coffee machine to be collected. No reply yet. It was bought from their website, using a credit card. The company, although a co.uk company turns out to be based in Italy ( the machine was an Italian brand).
At this stage we would like the machine to be collect, at no cost to us and a full refund. Are we within our rights to expect this? What’s our next step? The company are proving elusive, if we can’t return to them or they don’t fully refund us can I claim via section 75?

What was the website? Being a .co.uk doesn't make it a UK site as you have found. How much was it?0

(At this stage we would like the machine to be collect, at no cost to us and a full refund. Are we within our rights to expect this?) Depends upon Italian laws not UK laws .(f we can’t return to them or they don’t fully refund us can I claim via section 75?)You can try how did you pay ??

If it was £79 then no S75 as lower limit is £100 (item price only)
If it is over £79I ? and is faulty then, you are going to be looking at a chargeback 1st for faulty goods.
Any chance you could get to one of the service centers & get the issue sorted there?Life in the slow lane0
