Returning mobile phones to Amazon one month after use

Whenever I buy a product from Amazon, sometimes I don't like it after a few weeks and I return it back to Amazon, with reasons like "no longer needed".
Now I want to try a phone, which is around £200, but I wonder if I still have the same options? Do I still have the right the return it back? How can I make sure?

You've always got the right to try and return something. In the case of a change of mind return after 14 days, they don't have to accept it, so no, you can't be sure they'll let you return a phone after a few weeks.3

Do it too often and Amazon will just close your account down with no chance of ever having another one.3

Don't Amazon have history of closing accounts of those who return a lot of items?2

Absolutely no right to return it after that length of timeEx forum ambassador

As above, I assume this is a wind up post, but just in case, no, you cannot just return something after a few weeks because you don’t like it. Phone or anything else. Amazon rightly protect their business and that of the third party sellers by closing the accounts of people who they consider are abusing returns.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Amazon would be within their rights to reduce the refund to reflect the reduction in value of the item if your handling of it is deemed to have been excessive. I think it would be pretty easy to argue that using a phone for a couple of weeks is excessive.

Provided that Amazon have complied with their obligations under the Consumer Contracts Regulations then if the OP waits until after 15 days from the day of delivery allowed to inform the seller of their wish to return the goods, Amazon can totally reject that return rather than simply reducing the refund.68ComebackSpecial said:Amazon would be within their rights to reduce the refund to reflect the reduction in value of the item if your handling of it is deemed to have been excessive.1

Continue. And that will deservedly happen. The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon0
