Nat West moving trust. Views and options please?

Hi. My folks have received paperwork from Nat West informing them that the bank wants to / will be passing over the management of their investment trust to another company. The pack of papers includes various documents for them to sign. There is a deadline of early January. The info is entirely unexpected. They won't be signing anything at this stage.
I have advised them to contact Nat West to check validity and to find out whether they have the option to stay as they are. They will do so.
I have had a look online and can't see anything regarding the Nat West changes being reported.
Does anyone have experience of this / any advice? many thanks

Have you read through the papers yourself? I'm sure that they'll contain a lot of information regarding the transfer itself.0

Make sure they contact them on a known number from previous correspondence or their website not using the contact details on the letter - you can never be too safe as there are too many scams to keep track of.My_perfect_cousin said:I have advised them to contact Nat West to check validity and to find out whether they have the option to stay as they are.

Changing the management of an investment trust wouldn't normally require any signatures from investors. There's not enough information to say anything except - what Alexland said.1
