I paid £500 worth of £2 coins into my bank yesterday (part of last years haul). Will buy some more Premium Bonds with the money.  :)
    🎉🥂👏 well done Grumpyoldmoo.

2 plain coins and another shakespeare one (the skull one) added
There are several Shakespeare coins. I only have the crown and skull. I don't have the comedy coin.
    What about you StokieBecks?

Oh thank you for that Gem-gem

I've got two of those three. I have never seen the comedy one though
Has anyone managed to get the comedy coin yet?

  • I have paid the remaining £500 worth of £2 coins collected over the last 14mths  in at the bank this morn, helpful they have a machine that collects it. There were a few picture ones in there, I don’t want to collect duplicates.  I’m sure my branch will be glad to see the back of me   :)

Excellent banking! Well done. I was just about to ask how you paid yours in as when I went in October they would only let me pay in 10 bags worth. Might have to bank mine every so often and put them in a separate online saver for the time being will have a think

  • Evening, savers! Some excellent potting and paying in occurring here! I'm pleased to report that Mummy T came through for me with 3 plain beauties, and got a 4th plain beauty on the self-service checkout at Mr. B - I was beginning to lose hope! It's great to read that there will be a lot more £2 coins in circulation now though :) So that's #14 with a running total of £24 - slow and steady wins the race and all that! xxx

OK, so Mummy T has just paid me back with 4 more plain but beautiful £2 coins and I'm starting to understand why they've been so difficult to find around here...! £32 and counting! xxx

    🎉Lucky you, Grumpyoldmoo 👏
