Wifi 6 router compatible with Apple Time Machine

Can anyone please recommend a Wifi 6 router with a USB 3.0 port which is compatible with time machine please? It will be to replace my BT Smart Hub 2. It won't need a modem as I have fibre to the premises. I want it to keep my MacBook backed up.

I'm using the Netgear RAX200 on my 1 Gig FTTP line and its superb. Seeing wifi 6 speeds of 800+ Mbps and wifi 5 speeds of 600+ Mbps. My previous wifi 5 router (Asus RT-AC68U) wouldn't give me more than 400 Mbps on any client. The RAX200 isn't cheap but like with most things in life you get what you pay for. Otherwise a cheaper alternative is the Asus RT-AX88U but this is only dual-band whereas the RAX200 is tri-band - very useful if you have a tonne of wifi clients.

Thanks for the suggestions. Do you know if they are Apple Time Machine compatible?

You definitely can, page 124 of the RAX200 manual:
