    Agree. I swapped out a dual flush siphon in my downstairs loo. 
    If it’s apart for a little while, use a few litres of water from a bucket as a temporary flush.

    Haha I was turning the bolt clockwise, so there was no issues there! But what I was doing incorrectly was trying to loosen the bolt without the white part being tightened.

    So thank you very much NFLO, that's done the job and you've saved me time and some money! Much appreciated!
