Best and Final Offer

Thanks everyone. Interesting to see the varying viewpoints. It does appear in this market that most are going to best and final offer

It's stressful! But you'll be fine. As mentioned, we had very similar and it ground us down a bit, especially on the first one or two. But try to not get too attached if this is happening to most properties in that area and you'll be over the moon when you do "win" one. But you'll figure it out anyway, main thing is if you're really set on buying something in that area just get started making offers on houses you do like, make affordable yet competitive offers that (that that moment) do seem like your best and final, don't make ridiculous offers out of fear and in time you'll start to get a feel of how much over "asking" you need to go. Some people in this thread are saying "obviously just make your best and final", but when you don't win one that you really like it's easy to think maybe we could/should have added an extra X thousand pounds on top. That'll be a completely natural feeling.gwilson30019 said:Thanks everyone. Interesting to see the varying viewpoints. It does appear in this market that most are going to best and final offer
Good luck, it'll all work out in the end
