Scottish law - bought a flat with faulty white goods

How much extra where the sold as seen items .Or did the vendor just throw them in to save disposing of them .

Certainly in property purchases I have done (Scotland), the state of any white goods as part of the sale was included in the contract. That did mean they had to be working. A purchases can insist that the house is empty without white goods they don't need or want. Disposing of them can be a pain. If they didn't work the seller will be under the contract due to refund some of the purchase price presuming your solicitor was savvy enough to include that
