Would anyone happen to be able to tell me what Ebico's standard electricity tariffs were, during August 2020 - day use, night use, standing charge?  Fingers crossed!

Here is the latest list of all Ebico tariffs, don’t know if they are for August, the company was sold in September so I wouldn’t think there would be any changes made to prices but I could be wrong.

Hey thanks Squiggles.  I did come across that site, but cant spot anywhere that says what the standard rate tariffs are for the economy  option.  Did you see that I wonder, as frankly I could very easily have missed it.  But I fear it would take a phone call, which would defeat the object slightly (Im in query with them about a bill I have received for a few days in August, between tenants bill and my contract with Bulb coming into effect.  Seems crazily high in comparison to any other economy 7 provider that Ive seen - so was hoping to be able to verify the economy 7 rates I should be invoiced for).

I’ve had another look and can’t see it either, I can only see ‘ebico standard’ but nothing that says economy.
Have you had a look on the Ebico website, my account is still open there even though I was billed on receipt of paper billing. You should have a list of your tariff changes in the ‘communication’ section once you’ve logged in. My bills and communication from the last 2 year are still there.

Hey Squiggles, I dont have any history with them unfortunately as I wasnt a customer as such (the previous tenants were their customer), but got charged from the period of time until my own supplier took over. its all down to a major !!!!!!-up by the agents, who submitted the last tenants opening readings as their final readings! (How do they manage to get paid so well for being so useless? :-)).  And their error is coming back to haunt me, as thereafter the agency didnt use my actual readings to correct the error but some fabricated figures (of course they used readings in their favour as Im guessing they had to settle the previous tenants bill).  Arggh!  This is all way back in August/September, but Im only hearing about it now as until yesterday, all correspondence was between Agency and Ebico.

Oh no ☹️ Poor you, it sounds like a complicated nightmare for you and I hope you get it sorted.
I’m unsure of the route you can take, normally energy companies have a complaints dept but as Ebico-RobinHood are no more, they may not have this.

When I telephoned a couple of weeks ago the bloke I spoke to said the staff had all lost their jobs as British Gas didn’t keep the staff with the transfer.

You could start a new thread asking for advice on what route you could take with the meter reading discrepancy, or edit the thread title maybe, people will just scroll past this thread if they don’t know the Ebico tariff question.

It's never straight forward, thats for sure! :-). I rang the number on my Ebico bill, which took me through to British Gas. They said i have to ring Ebico in Ireland (ie an international number!).  How ridiculous .. Ive emailed Ebico with my breakdown of what I should pay.  Its take me a while to sort as its so old, but hopefully they will just take my calculation and be glad Im not simply ignoring them :-).  Lets see what transpires! But thanks so much for all your help, its been very much appreciated :-)

Hi leafy, thanks for the appreciation.

0115 815 9802 is the number I phoned at the end of November, this number is a Nottingham code, I was given it by the automation speaker when I phoned the 0800 number on my bill.

Ahh- thats very handy.  Ill see what response Ebico give me (Im being more than fair with them so hopefully they will accept my correct calculation graciously) but if not, then will definitely ring them on that Nottingham number.  Thank you so much once again! :-)
