Hera refund

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me? Sometime last year my boyfriend ordered some jeans from online store Hera. They must have changed their refund terms as when he wanted to send them back, they said they can only do credit note as they were sale (most of their clothes are on offer a lot!) so I wasn’t happy and we accepted the credit note. When we used the credit note on 13th November to buy a winter jacket, the jacket never arrived, no despatch email was ever sent but we did get an order confirmation.
I emailed a couple of times with no response, I went on Twitter to message them and Instagram. They blocked me from instagram because I asked politely where my order was! They’ve also done this to a number of other people I’ve spoken to on Instagram with the same issue.
basically, I went through resolver and they emailed back and gave a credit note again and refunded delivery cost with an extra £10 on the credit note as a goodwill gesture. I do not want to use this credit note and would love to be able to get the money back that I paid originally.

Does anyone know where I stand on this?
Thankyou in advance

As they are a UK company their terms on distance selling of sale items are not compatible with your statutory rights on returning goods sold online. As it was your boyfriend buying them was there a delay between purchase and return?1
