Last night I booked a hotel through Lastminute.com, today I see the same hotel room over £100 cheaper through Opodo. Does anyone know if I can cancel without incurring any charges? Is there some cooling off period for internet purchases?

There is no legal cooling off period for any travel sales, they are specifically excluded from the Distance Selling Regulations. As you have discovered, last minute does not mean cheapest at all!0
