Amazon gift cards

Tell all your friends never to buy Amazon gift cards from Morrison’s and maybe even other supermarkets
A friend bought me one which I can’t redeem and according to money saving expert it’s been going on for a while.
Amazon take no responsibility, neither do Morrison’s, both say contact Blackhawk who supply the cards, but they are an American company with a telephone number that does not answer, it’s totally ridiculous and they know about it and are still selling these products.
Don’t buy any for Christmas presents.

I wouldn't anyway. Vouchers and gift cards cause far too many problems generally - you've only got to take a random selection of threads on here in any given week. Just an inferior version of cash that comes with a load of restrictions that cash doesn't have.0

You want the special type of Amazon gift card I always use - it works perfectly every time and has an apparently limitless balance. It's otherwise known as my husband's debit card.0

Or buy direct from Amazon

What's the reason you can't redeem it? Has it already been used?0

Bought and used dozens in the last few years -- never had an issue
I buy (and read) lots of books (Kindle) and my Credit Card takes a "dim view" of more than 10 transactions to the same company a day -- therefore gift card balance is much easier for me to use0 -
You can now "top up" your account, then draw down against that, so say add £50 credit and use that for your Kindle purchases.JamoLew said:I buy (and read) lots of books (Kindle) and my Credit Card takes a "dim view" of more than 10 transactions to the same company a day -- therefore gift card balance is much easier for me to use0
