OP before you cancel the policy check out the terms that you signed with the broker. You could find that any commission reclaim by the insurer coming back to you as a bill.
Check your paperwork carefully first.1 -
Sorry to sound morbid OP, does your life insurance policy have terminal illness cover?My brother in law had this cover which he received and was able to use to bring happiness to him and make things more comfortable in his final months.
Just another avenue to investigate before cancelling.1
