Best Free Android Ad Blocker ??

Any recommendations for a free ad blocker for android ??
I have been using Blokada for a few years now but a recent update to version 5.0
has made it completely useless.

What ads are you trying to block? I don't get any 'in your face' ads and I don't have any blockers

Adblock plus or Adguard are both worth a try.

Hi

I'm using Blokada v4.9.0.

It's working OK on my Android smartphone using Cloudflare 1.1.1.1 DNS.

There's an option to upgrade to v5.5.0 but I haven't tried it yet.

Here is an issue that suggests to change the DNS settings with v5.5 --->

I'm using Blokada (From F-droid), NOT Blokada Slim (From Google PlayStore).

Don't do the upgrade to v5 is does not work at all.
Most ads are now not blocked.
I have now reverted back to v4.9 & all the ads are being blocked again.

Blocking ads on a forum I use on a regular basis.
Ads at the top and bottom of the screen block 25% of the screen.
