  • It's a generic offer for a new card. You'll need to apply for it. It's not connected to your existing card.

Update: So I have checked my eligibility on MBNA and a few other eligibility check tools.. MBNA says I am not eligible and a few tools are showing 60-80% chance of a few with shorter/no 0% interest period. On my Lloyds app I cant tell if it is a generic page or whether it is tailored to me. Mine shows 0% apr for 12 months with a 4% fee option, or a 48 months at 4.9% with 0% fee. Is anyone with a lloyds credit account able to see if this is the same for them? If its different then I'd assume it's tailored to me and I'd be more confident in getting accepted..
My Llloyds credit card shows 0% for 18 months with a 4% fee, and yes shows max available to transfer as around 93% of available credit. I only get that one offer, no others.

    Are you sure?
As I get that offer on my Halifax card. It's not a new card it is simply a offer to take cash from my current credit card. (also has a balance transfer option)
Did it a while back to payback my outstanding balance. Now got a better deal than before.

    Copy of email on offer
These new balance and money transfer offers could help you organise your finances and get ready for the new year ahead.

These offers are available subject to status and only apply to new transfers made by 9 January 2021 on credit card number ending
    0% PA for 20 months 4% fee
    3.9% PA 36 months 0% fee

This is very helpful, thank you! As we have different offers shown I am slightly more confident I'd be accepted..

This is the impression I'm getting from the Lloyds app too, it says I need to apply for it, but doesn't suggest it would be a new account

My credit card is with lloyds and they have a money transfer option, so I would most likely go through them to begin with until the introductory rate expires and balance transfer any remaining credit over to a new one. So I wouldnt actually be applying for a new credit card I don't think. I've done an eligibility checker and there a few good ones with 95% chance. I was mainly wondering whether I'm likely to be allowed to transfer close to my credit limit, so thanks for your help🙂
When my deals finish with Lloyds or Halifax cards I usually apply to swap credit cards with one of their other cards. That way I get all the offers attributed to the new card. With Halifax I am my third swap. This can all be done online and they normally increase the limit by £500.  Also on my Lloyds card I have the same promo rates as yours.

I have disabled email marketing from Lloyds - but I do get letters almost monthly offering me the deals similar to what you have been offered. I guess I must be eligible otherwise why would they send me the offers?

That's what I was considering, money transfer and pay off as much as possible during interest free period (12 months for me) and just pay the 4% fee, then balance transfer remaining balance to a new credit card to a new credit card.. but on some eligibility checkers not many good offers are coming up, so it might be worth me taking the 4.9% APR and no fee to avoid the hassle of applying and switching to a new card, I'd hopefully have it paid back in 2 years anyway.

The figure most providers quote on how much you are able to transfer using a money transfer card is between 93 per cent and 95 per cent of your card limit.

This is for Money Transfer Card products and not for any other type of credit card.
