Shares have different £/p after their name. Some are 1p and some 5p. Is that simply their value?
I have Skypharma shares years ago, these are now 188 Vectura shares @ 0.0271p
I just want to make sure they are worth more than the cost of selling with the certificate

The 'value' is what they're trading for on the stock market. As I type, the bid for LSE:VEC is 109.6p so 188 * £1.096 = £206.04 before commission and any other costs.

Thanks, at that value I might wait, I also have a small value share within my ISA, better to wait if the fees are going to be over 10% of the stock valuewmb194 said:The 'value' is what they're trading for on the stock market.
