When you say credit checks do you mean if I was to take a credit card loan etc it would be used to cross reference? And fraud checks?
Can I phone them up and change it or is that old fashioned? Lol
Edit: Just signed up to the government gateway to check, they have my current address. My pension estimate um is very worrying being half my low wage as it is! Work past retirement age it is.0 - 
            I do bits of admin for our payroll at work, and we have a couple of people using their parents address for our 'official' purposes and HMRC. We know they don't live there (because the commute would be impossible!) but we do have their other address on file.
And I think all our sons used ours for their employers at various times.
There are times when it causes a hiccup (credit checks) but again, our sons were using this for their banks as well ...Signature removed for peace of mind0
