Wii and game cube games

Hello good ppl

I was just wondering, game cube games are very cheap now, are they worth buying to play on the wii if so what do they play like

do you still get the benefit of the wii remote or do you need to buy the standard type controller?

I believe you need to use either a Gamecube controller or the Wii classic contrroller.

Personally if I was getting Gamecube games I would only buy second hand ones, you could also look at the options on the Virtual Console.

you need the original gamecube controller to play gamecube games on the wii.

I bought 4 games today with a GameCube for £35, the games are compatible with the Wii but you need to use the gamecube controller.

The games are fine, however i did need to press "A" a couple of times to activate the game (follow on screen instructions).

I havent heard you can use the original wii controller but defo worth a go if this is the case.
