Money lending is a highly regulated commercial activity that is controlled by strict criteria. There's no right to a loan. Nothing personal in the decision made. Nor is there any point in expounding energy in a fit of frustration. Move on and apply elsewhere. As with mortgages diffferent lenders target different markets.Tally125 said:I've been loyal to HSBC / too busy balancing a family and career to shop around; it now seems I'm being penalised for this.1 -
What accounts do you see listed on your credit file?
What differences do you see between Experian, Equifax, and Trans Union?
If you perform a loan eligibility check from the likes of Moneysupermarket, what are the results and likelihoods like?
You can't force a financial institution to share your data with any given credit reference agency, but you can vote with your feet and take your business elsewhere. The Moneysupermarket loan comparator tool will be an asset with this.0 -
I have HSBC and First Direct acc which was opened more than 20 yrs ago. No details are shared which I am happy because I have high credit limit on both account and it does not have an effect when applying for credit elsewhere.
