Old parking fine

Hi, I have received a letter chasing me for a parking fine. I can't remember receiving a ticket. The date of the parking charge is 21/02/2018. Is there a time limit on parking fines? Am I still liable for the fine? It's £150 that I could do without shelling out at this time of year. Thank you.

Someone who alleges that you owe them money has up to six years to seek a resolution through the courts.

    Who is the parking company?
    Who is writing to you?
Have you never received any communication about this alleged debt?
If not, then check the keeper's address on the vehicle's Registration Document(V5c).
